Founded in 1921 in Oyonnax, France, Max Pittion transformed his family's comb-making business into Pittion Lunetterie, crafting frames that graced the faces of style icons and adorned the collections of Parisian fashion houses like Lanvin and Azzaro. ​

After a period of dormancy, the brand was revived in 2013 by musician John Mayer and eyewear designer Tommy O'Gara. Together, they honored Pittion's original designs while infusing them with contemporary sensibilities. Handcrafted in Japan, each frame is meticulously produced using premium materials, including cotton-based acetate and 10K gold rivets, ensuring both durability and elegance.
