In the wake of World War II, politicians the world over gravitated towards eyewear that lent them an air of intelligence—something that felt thoughtful, forward-thinking and precise. This modern interpretation of a classic shape ushers the wearer into a new era. MAX PITTION designed an oversized, rounded square with an appealing cat-eye configuration at the top and lower corners cut off at a sharp 22 degree angle, the effect is both commanding and appealing—just like the best politicians make themselves out to be.
