EYEBRANDS shop

Hello EYEBRANDS

The Langstrasse is about to get even more vibrant:

The MYKITA franchise store becomes the EYEBRANDS Concept Store.

On March 15, 2025, the era of our legendary MYKITA franchise shop on Langstrasse has come to an end. But with a new name and a new concept, we begin again:

EYEBRANDS – Zurich’s first optical concept store.

You might remember, fifteen years ago, we opened Switzerland’s very first MYKITA shop right here in the heart of the Langstrasse district. Back then, we were urban pioneers. The light-flooded space introduced a new generation of eyewear style. Now, it’s time to make room for the next generation. In fact, for three new stages.

Stage 1 - KUBORAUM

KUBORAUM eyewear, which we see as more than just glasses—they are transformative masks that bring out individuality and personality. Handmade in Italy with the craftsmanship of Venetian artisans, each piece reflects KUBORAUM’s unique blend of Italian tradition and Berlin's creative spirit. KUBORAUM began when Livio Graziottin and Sergio Eusebi first met in 2009 at an art gallery vernissage in Berlin. By 2011, they had launched their first collection of five models, created in opposition to all dominant aesthetics in the eyewear industry.

We are proud to be the only store in Switzerland to offer the full KUBORAUM collection. Each mask, handmade in Italy, tells a story of identity, rebellion, and transformation.

At EYEBRANDS, you’ll find the complete universe of KUBORAUM – raw, poetic, uncompromising.

Stage 2 - Peter and May

PETER AND MAY is a Paris-based eyewear label founded by designers Laura Le Bihan and Xavier Matrand, who bring decades of experience in the high-end eyewear industry. With the aim of merging contemporary design with artisanal precision, they launched their own studio – quickly finding their place at the intersection of fashion and eyewear.

From the very beginning, they collaborated closely with renowned fashion houses: they designed the first eyewear collection for cult label Jacquemus, partnered with Études, and are currently shaping the eyewear world of Ami Paris. Their clean, subtly refined designs have not only won over the fashion scene – the film industry also took notice when Scarlett Johansson was seen wearing one of their frames.

“At the very core of the design is a product that combines thoughtful shapes, comfort, and technical demands.”
This mindset runs through every collection: PETER AND MAY masterfully balances fashion-forward statements with technical precision – creating eyewear that is intelligent, wearable, and effortlessly stylish.

PETER AND MAY stands for modern elegance, subtle statements, and that unmistakable Parisian cool – eyewear for those with a sharp eye for style and high expectations.

Stage 3 - EYEBRANDS Curated

When EYEBRANDS curates, it’s never just about selection.
It’s about attitude. About a refined sense for form, materials, and identity. We don’t present brands – we present perspectives. Eyewear that tells a story. Crafted with precision, but never sterile. Pieces that carry emotion – without needing to shout.

We begin with Japan. A country of tradition and reinvention. Discover both iconic and emerging labels, many shown in Switzerland for the very first time. Hand-picked highlights of Japanese design and exceptional new production techniques – brought straight from artisan workshops to Langstrasse.

Explore models from EYEVAN, Yellows Plus, Lunetta BADA, Native Sons, Sauvage, Yuichi Toyama, and Max Pittion – with first impressions already available to browse online.

To complete our selection we’ve added the limited creations of Jacques Marie Mage, You Mawo – custom-fitted through facial scanning and MYKITA – a long-standing part of our story and a symbol of timeless innovation.
