Peter & May for EYEBRANDS

·
A Paris–Zurich collaboration, five years in the making.
ARIA NOCTURNE
We have been working with Laura and Xavier of Peter + May for around five years. EYEBRANDS was their first account in Switzerland, and over the years, the collaboration has grown into a close friendship.
When we rebuilt our shop on Langstrasse, it was clear from the beginning that Peter + May had to be part of it. We wanted to give the brand the space it deserves. Not just a few selected frames, but enough of the collection to really understand what Peter + May is about.
Today, our selection is one of the largest in Switzerland.
There are many reasons why the collaboration feels so natural to us. We share a love of simplicity, good design and fashion. Laura and Xavier move naturally between eyewear and fashion, with collaborations with Lemaire, Ami, Études and other design houses showing just how well those worlds come together.
At the last fair in Paris, the idea came up to celebrate our friendship with a frame of our own.
That became ARIA NOCTURNE.
An acetate aviator in a colour developed specifically for this collaboration. Saguaro Green slowly transitions into Tortoise towards the temple ends. The photochromic lenses already have a light base tint and darken further in sunlight.
Then there are the details we particularly like. The shared Paris–Zurich mark. Peter + May for EYEBRANDS.
Nothing too loud. Just a small sign of what has grown over the past five years. A collaboration between equals that has long become more than a business relationship.
Only 25 pieces of this edition are available in Zurich. At EYEBRANDS Langstrasse, the ZEISS VISION CENTER at Steinmühleplatz, online at EYEBRANDS, and at OPIA Lagerstrasse.
We are very happy to finally call this one our own.
And, of course, curious to see what comes next from this friendship.
Paris to Zurich. And back again.
