Reimagined from the Pittian archives using the same construction as the original 1950s model, substituting titanium for the former material-covered monel. The connections are slotted and vertically milled to receive a cylinder hinge insert, while the temples are slotted through so the cylinder can be inserted from the bottom and secured by a bottom screw. The action is predetermined by the specifications of the pressed and constructed units. A protruding locking bar at the connections secures the frame when opened. The temples begin at this locking bar and fold back before tapering into a four-sided, multi-pressed and trimmed profile. At the rear, a welded core wire carries an acetate “Modan” temple piece, which slides on and is fixed from the backside with a custom MAP screw.
