This model pays homage to historical eyewear regarded as the origin of German design through the lens of the 7285 interpretation. The bridge, endpiece, and offset temples were newly developed for the model and feature the signature “7285 stripes” with an extremely precise 0.15 mm pitch. Beautiful acetate brow parts with an R10 shape are crafted using a special blade faithfully reproduced from a vintage machine catalog. The model embodies the 7285 philosophy that “things that cannot be made now and things that can only be made now possess the same value.”
