This model draws inspiration from the sketches of a 20th-century master painter associated with Cubism. The delicate wave-like ridges of the hand-drawn design were reproduced through hand-carving by craftsman Nakamura. The temples combine pure titanium and β-titanium, positioned and soldered to meet mechanical requirements. An expressive lens shape, drawn directly onto the master’s portrait, completes the design with strong visual consistency.
